We board in the evening on Saturday, then spend two days at sea with classes each morning. We visit St. Thomas and St Maarten for two days, then one day at sea (more stitching!), a day at Princess Cay in the Bahamas, then we disembark on the morning of the last day. That's a total of 7 days of cruising with meals and entertainment on the prettiest, newest ship in the fleet, four ports of call, fabulous stitching and extreme pampering! While the rest of the world shivers through mid-January weather, we will toast our toes and ply our needles on a luxurious floating resort, feasting our eyes on the wonders of the Caribbean!
Meg's class project is a project keeper and tool organizer on 20ct linen. It can be customized to your favorite tools and will comfortably hold a 6x9" chartpak, fabric and thread. Depending on how much stitching you like to do while surrounded by all the delights available on the Caribbean Princess, you may very well have the project completed by the time the voyage draws to a close.
Register by contacting the Stitch & Frame Shop in Rock Hill SC and paying your $150 deposit ($50 for non-stitchers). Next, contact RESULTS! TRAVEL to reserve your cabin with a $250 deposit. These two payments will cover about one-third of the total cost of the cruise.
We recommend that you make a second payment in June or July (to Results! Travel). Your final payment is due by Oct 15, after which certain penalties may be applied in the event of cancellation or late payment. Our delightful travel agent, Diane Hardison, will provide a detailed cruise guide or you can pick one up at the Stitch & Frame Shop.
Travel insurance is a very good idea! It is available either from Results!Travel or Princess Cruises. Be sure to discuss your travel plans with our travel agent, Dianne. Please let us know at the shop if you will be arriving in Fort Lauderdale a day early. Nancy and Meg will be there at the Marriott North.
